First Day of School

Such the poser!

Ready to go.... when did she get SO big!!

The hook!
Molly started school in September. She LOVES it, but really there isn't anything that Molly doesn't love!!! She was so excited to use her new backpack and put in on her hook, as she told me time and time again. Aaron was able to go to school to drop her off and she ran into her room and didn't look back. She asks everyday as we are walking out if she can go back and has great stories to tell about what they did each day!!

Trip to the Hollar

Molly and cousin Emilee

Macon and Aunt Eleanor

Cousin Rickey and Macon

Granny and Macon
We went to Fola, WV for a Workman family reunion in September. It was great to see Grandma Workman with SO many generations!! They got to great great grandchildren, most of which were older Molly! Molly LOVED the day. As Aaron says the hills are the babysitter in the hollar! I didn't see much of Macon as he was the pass around baby. For much of Aaron's family this was the first meeting of Macon.

With Penn State back in action Aaron is back to a fairly normal schedule, lots of early mornings and lots of recruiting calls but home :) And we all appreicate that! We have been having a super month! Molly is potty trained and doing a fantastic job!! So proud of her! Hopefully Macon will be easier, or maybe I'll just be more laid back when it comes to him! We have been walking all over State College! It is such a beautiful town and so walkable, thanks to my bike trailer that doubles as a stroller!! Awesome... we spent one morning walking in the PSU arboritium where there were beautiful flowers and Molly's fountian, as she calls it.

Punkin patch and stuff!!!

We have had a great fall!! We have been very busy on the weekends and during the week too!! Since my last post we have really gotten into the PSU tailgating swing. We have a super group of friends that we tailgate with for the games. Lots of yummy food and enough activity to keep Molly very busy!! Molly and Macon both went to thier first PSU game for the home opener. Molly LOVED the band and watching football. Macon was just same old Mr. Laid Back.  We will not be taking the kids to anymore games now that we realize that we have to pay for Macon to be in my chest carrier!! Love you kid... but not enough to buy you a ticket!! hahah.

Molly, Macon and I have spent some good time doing some nice long walks around our house to many parks, and around campus. One of the many perks of living in a true college town! It is so beauiful out right now the leaves are changing and the past couple of days have been in the 70s, really spoiling us northern folk.

Last weekend Molly, Macon and I went back to Pittsburgh to visit with the whole fam, visit Shenots Pumpkin patch, and the Jen, Jess and I ran in an adventure race in Morgantown, WV. An adventure race is a combination of running, biking and canoeing along with physical and mental tasks. We had such a great time despite the weather and finished first in the all female division. Not bad for some rookies!! We are looking for another race soon! We had a great cheering section!!

The pumpkin patch, of course, was a blast! Molly loved trying to find the smallest, and cleanest pumpkin(don't know where she gets that!!) that she could and running through the corn maze. We found the perfect one and brought it back to State College to share with Daddy.

My two favorite punkins in the patch
Macon is our Mr. Slow and steady. He is 7 1/2mos old and quite the army crawler. At this point Molly was climbing in and out of everything and couldn't be stopped. Macon not quite. He too just isn't that interested in eating. We get one good breakfast in a day, but the other food we are lucky for a few bites. We go back to the doctor tomorrow just to check his weight gain. But he continues to be super happy and just a wonderful baby!!
