Macon 4 months!!

Macon is a growing boy!! We went to his 4 month check up yesterday and he is growing like a weed! He was 15lbs 12oz (38%) and 26.5inches (99%)!! Big boy! He is rolling over both ways pretty regularly. LOVES watching and playing with Molly and continues to be a great sleeper. Goes down awake at 7:30 and isn't up until 7am!! He wakes to eat and then sleeps until 9:30 or so! He is just such a happy fun guy!!

First week at State College

We are settling in to State College, which really just means that we have really been to the pool a lot! Molly has progressed SO much just in one week. She loves being thrown in the water and goes under all the time. She has discovered that the big pool is more fun then the baby pool.   And she even was brave enough to go down the tunnel slide!! WOW!!

The tunnel slide that she was brave enough to try!!

Molly and I put together an herb garden. She had fun gardening! We planed basil, green pepper and jalapeno!!

We also got to go to a State College Spikes game. They are the A team for the Pirates and unlike the Pirates we got to see a win! Such a fun night with the coaching staff and Molly's new friend John! It took them 8 innings to warm up to each other but then he is all that Molly could talk about! We were even treated to fireworks at the end! So fun to watch the kids enjoy them!

Macon's first baseball game!
Molly and John enjoying the fireworks!
Saturday we got to help John Hargis celebrate his 3rd birthday! It was so fun and Molly got to play with some new things including hitting a baseball, which she really enjoyed, she shot some hoops... which she was pretty good at.. must be that Kentucky blood in her, and a slip in slide that was more of a crawl in slide but the kids didn't care! They just had a blast in the water!!

Molly's Bedding!!

She just couldn't get into it fast enough!!! Then she and daddy had a talk about the Siegele "show pillows"!!

1st attempt at the monogramed pillow

As promised here are the pictures of Molly's new bedding. A lot of hard work went into this project. Gamma put hours in constructing the beautiful shams and duvet while I was designer and monogram pillow maker!  Molly "lobed" it to quote her directly. "Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh" "I lobe it, I lobe it!" " I tired" She just couldn't wait to sleep in it fast enough!! It really makes her new room all hers and of course had to be done in her favorite color PINK! and purple. Thank you to Gamma for all her hard work!! We LOBE it!!

Busy busy busy....

Much has gone on since my last post. We are now offically residents of State College, PA. Thank goodness for grandma! She came with us last week and helped me unpack!! I'm pretty sure I would of been crying in the corner somwhere if not for her!!! We are getting used to our new home.  Molly loves her new room. Grandma and I have been working on her new bedding, as she has moved up to a full bed. Don't worry pictures to follow when we have it all done!!  The Bradford Woods house is no longer ours. But once Molly made sure all her toys were out of it.. she was done "OK Mommy lets go!" But we have LOTS of great memories to take with us. We have a community pool about 1/2 mile from our house and Molly loves it!! She goes under and kicks and blows bubbles and has a blast! Macon, like his personality, is very chill in the water!! Just literally lays back and takes it all in! Every morning so far she has asked if we can go to the pool! OK with me!!

Moving day!

In May Macon was baptized along with my niece McKenzie. It was so special to do it together!! We had all of the Workmans in and got to have several fun meals with everyone :)

In June we got to spend a weekend in DC visiting Nut, Brett and Kenzie while Aaron played volleyball and did some recruiting. Kenzie is catching Macon in size quickly! We went to the National Zoo. Molly bonded wiht a baby gorilla and of course got to see Nala and Simba!!  We also had lots of fun swimming.

I'm spoiled!!He is a good eater and sleeper. He is really rolling around and moves himself in really good circles!!
