A Workman/Siegele Family tradition

Checkin out the "tipustree" with Gram.
Siegele Girls!!

Loving the photo shoot!!

Molly liked this Santa the best!

Checking out the gingerbread houses and trains with daddy!

I love when he tickles me... I even ask for more!

Let's dive into my first Primanti's sandwich!

She gets her big mouth from her dad!
Macy's windows!

So for years the Siegeles have been going downtown to the PPG building at looking at the Santas from all around the world. Molly has done it every year of her life. We have also started including a trip to Macy's to look at the windows and see Santa.

Molly loved the windows but was not a fan of Santa. She would not even sit on his lap or look at him. She was wrapped up around Aaron's neck and not thinking too highly of this man dressed all in red. Although we was a great Santa!! He tried to coax her down with talk of Elmo, Woody and Buzz but the look on her face was priceless!! She was all "no way you crazy man!"

On our way back to PPG Place we had to make a dinner stop and nothing says Pittsburgh better than Primanti Bro's. We ordered the chicken fingers for her but as the pictures show, once she was offered the traditional sandwich there was no turning back!! She loved it!

Then it was on to the skating rink and photos with the Santas.

We are eagarly looking forward to a fun weekend with the Hortons!!

Check out my back float!

Daddy is the best!

So in November the Pitt kids hosted a free swim lesson to encourage and promote the sport of swimming within the staff and faculty at the Univeristy. So we took Molly down and she did a great job! She does a great job floating on her back and loves to kick! She even makes me practice her breaststroke legs in the bath tub. Don't know where she gets that from??!!

Happy Halloween??!!

Getting ready to go "Trick-or-treating"!!
The "flutter-fly" as she called herself!

Carving with Daddy!

OK so I am not so good at staying current with my blog. It is mid December and I am just now doing Halloween!!! Awesome!! Molly loved her first true trick-or-treating expereince. Daddy took her out to many of our neighbors homes. We practiced before she left the house so when she got to the houses it was a little understandable that she would say trick or treat and then try to give them the candy in her pumpkin!! What a lover! Molly came home with many treats and true to being a girl loves chocolate and especially M&Ms!!!

Molly had a great time carving her pumpkin and talks about it all the time! Daddy took his carving much more seriously then I did, but to no ones surprise!! He is surely the artist in the family! He did a great job with Elmo!

A day at the pumpkin patch!

Playing in the hay!
Picking out the perfect pumpkin!

This is the one!

Yummy Shenot apple!

On Sunday we spent the day at our local farm enjoying a beautiful PA fall day! Molly was super excited to go on a hay ride and pick out a pumpkin. "Pumpkins eberywhere" has become a new favorite saying of hers! Molly picked out a perfect pumpkin, got her first taste of fresh cider, had a yummy apple, and played in the hay! We love Shenots!

1st Hair Cut!

Molly got her first haircut this month. Aaron finally broke down and let us cut her hair!! Thank goodness. We may of had a slight mullet going on!!! She was a very good girl and we just evened up the back so that we looked a little more loved! Gram helped and we were done in a flash! We cut off about 2 inches and lucky for her she has her mother's hair!! Can you hear the sarcasm?

The birthday girl and Mommy!

My first attempt at a decorated birthday cake!

Decorating the house!

Can't believe that Molly is 2! We had been talking about the big day all week. She was able to tell you when her birthday is "Tober two fourth" and that she is turning "two" holding up all five fingers!!

We had an Elmo themed party of course. The girl loves Elmo!!! We made pizzas and had Elmo cake and had a great time with family and friends! Molly had Cannon and Connor over for all the festivities. She is so lucky to have such wonderful buddies!

Touring at Arlington

Molly loved the slide:)

Swimming with Daddy, Rickey and Emilee

Daddy is an expert thrower!

Wow! I am really behind! September has flown by and we are getting into the swing of being back at work. I am coaching for a club team this year and may sub a little bit. I am just having too much fun playing with Molly! Her personality is really apparent and what comes out of her mouth just cracks us up! Molly is excited about the "baby" although she has no idea what that is going to do to her world! She has been to the ultrasounds and tells us it is a boy, and that Nut is having a girl. We'll just have to wait and see!!!! Molly is growing and eating like a weed. We are working on potty training but we don't seem to be going anywhere with that! Other than that she is repeating everything including "No way!!" thanks Uncle Brett!

September has been busy. We have been traveling quite a bit and enjoying all the friends and family that we have seen! Labor day weekend was spend in Virginia visiting with Aaron's family. We enjoyed swimming with Rickey and Emilee. Molly decided that swimming was totally her thing and was in for hours. A complete change to the kid at the beach who would of rather just played in the sand! She was up and down the slide and all in all having a great time in the water. We may just have a swimmer after all!

The next weekend we were visiting with Nut and Uncle Brett in DC while Aaron was playing volleyball. What an absolutely wonderful weekend. We helped Jenny registar for the new baby, visited with our DC/Vegas friends in their new home, and toured DC at night (a must!!!) and had dinner on the river by the presidential yatch. It was a great weekend!

Our third weekend in September we stayed home but were still quite busy. Molly went to her second Pitt game and had a blast! Since she knows the word Pitt to see it, I guess we'll call that reading, she was excited to point it out everytime she saw it!!!! She was also super good at Touchdown arms and playing with her buddy Mac.

Finally, Molly and I headed to Deep Creek Lake to see Uncle Ray, Aunt Maddie, and Sadie since Aaron was in Cali playing volleyball. It was a blustery weekend but a great time none the less. Molly had a great time taking walks, playing with Sadie and reading books with Aunt Maddie. No fishing or boating on the lake, maybe next time:)

We are looking forward to an equally eventful October!!

Just too cute!

GP bought this outfit for Molly when she was only months old and now is big enough to wear it. I just thought it was too cute not to post!

Summer Swimming

Hanging with Mommy!
The kids!

Zachary taking Molly down the slide!

Molly loves playing in the gutter and with the kids goggles and kickboards!

Molly spent a great amount of time at North Park Pool while I was coaching. She loves to get in and go "simming." She kicks her legs and jumps in off the side with my help and makes the parents nervous. But she only fell in once and was recused immediately by one of the high school kids. When asked if it was fun she replied "YES" I'm not worried!!!

Brittany's Wedding

With the bride and groom!

Walking down the aisle.

I put on a great performance, and lasted through the entire ceremony!!

One of our great friends Brittany Jardine was married on August 8th to a great guy, Brian Glass. Molly was their flower girl and did a super job. She walked down the aisle with Brit's sister and our great friend, Chrissy Jardine Guerkovich, and was the best she had ever been in a church!! She then partied the night away with some of the high school kids who watched her! She also blew mommy's secret to them all when asked by the suspicious high school kids, "Molly, does your mommy have a baby in her belly?" Molly replied, "YES!!!" It was a beautiful wedding and day. Congrats to Brit and Brian!!

LOVING the sand!
Being a duck with Nut!
Molly napping on the beach!! What a life!

Playing with Daddy!

July has flown by and we were lucky enough to spend part of it at the beach! We spent the week with Gram, or Dana, as Molly affectionately calls her, GP, or PP, Nut, Brett and Aunt Jessie. Molly was not found of the water at first. She had to be convinced that jumping the waves and going into the ocean was a good time, but she spent hours playing in the sand. By the end of the week she was running from the waves that crashed on shore and spend many an afternoon napping under the tent. We also got to visit the NC aquarium and Molly loved it! She especially loved the swimming otters and all the fish!

The first night we were at the house Molly decided that the home's yellow chair needed to be purple, thank goodness for washable crayons!! But as Nut told her she totally redeemed herself by using the big girl potty that night and the next morning. Don't worry we haven't used it since!
