2 Months & 2 1/2 Years

Macon 2 mos

We had our 2 month check up for Macon last week. He was measuring a hefty 13lbs 9 oz (80%) and 23.5 inches (45%). So we have a bowling ball!! But he couldn't be any better or cuter! He is such a wonderful baby. He is so good at going down at night. I can put him down completely awake he just talks himself to sleep. And has gone from 7:45-6am. He is a very happy baby and loves his sister. He is very laid back and smiley!!

Molly is 29lbs and 36.5inches about the 75% on both! She is as busy as ever in everyway possible!! She is physcially busy and mentally busy. She is always talking and had a few go to phrases that she uses when she has nothing else to say! Our current funny pronouncation is "slip slops" for flip flops. She is a very big help with Macon and just so much fun! She makes me laugh on a daily basis!!

It is fun to watch her play at the park and everyone is her friend! She is also still working on the potty training thing. When she finally decides to do it I think it will be a piece of cake. It is just that she is too busy right now to interupt her life to go potty. She is very excited about her move to her new special house and she and John Harigis's little boy also 2 hit it off right away! So another boy-friend for Molly!

But the biggest news of April was Aaron accepting a position at Penn State! He couldn't be any happier and is so excited to be part of the Nittany Lion family. He is lead mens and international recruiter and sprint coach. He is so excited to work in the Big Ten and moved out there a couple weeks ago. We have taken several trips out to house hunt. And Aaron is looking for Molly's special house. Our house here sold the first week it was up so that was VERY good news! Looks like we will be joining him in late June :)

Molly had to learn a new cheer for Penn State and she is all set.

We had lots of fun this month!! A trip to the Pittsburgh zoo with Gamma and lots of good outside time.

Our trip to the zoo was SO much fun. Molly loved visiting with all the animals but her favorite were definately Simba and Nala!! Simba even gave us some great "roars." She would rush "more amimials, more amimals mommy." It was so fun to watch her have such a great time.

We also had lots of fun washing cars and playing at the park with Maddy, Cannon, Beckett and Danielle. What a super month!!

Happy Easter!

We have had such a great April!! With lots of fun and exciting news! Easter was great fun. As Molly really got into the hunting for eggs and coloring them this year rather than the egg drop last year! She helped Macon find eggs and loved wearing her "beautiful dress" that she has been dying to wear for months now!!!

This past weekend Macon and I got to go to Washington DC and meet the newest addition to the Siegele family, McKenzie Leigh Cory. She is such a doll baby! It was a wonderful trip and Brett and Jen are doing so well!! McKenzie is so tiny next to her big cousin that Jen and Brett affectionately nicknamed Macon "Make the Tank" At our official Cory scale weigh in Macon was 12.8lbs!! One big baby!! This was Macon's first trip outside of PA and he was a wonderful traveler. He and McKenzie practiced doing the C-A-T-S cheer (too bad UK couldn't pull out a win), walked capital hill, had a photo shoot with McKenzie, and walked in his first protest (see pictures below:) ) It was a wonderful weekend and we can't wait to go back so Molly and Aaron can meet Kenzie too!!

Bath Time!!

Macon is a child after his parents.. he loves the water. Molly has been very good at sharing her bubbles with Macon, although you can tell that the jury is still out with her. She loves Macon but at times isn't quite sure why he is still around!!
